Klippert speaks on the importance of creating a domestic violence registry

Rep. Brad Klippert, R-Kennewick, has introduced legislation to create a domestic violence registry. In November 2017, Tina Stewart was murdered at the hands of her abusive boyfriend. Klippert’s bill aims to create a registry of violent abuse offenders as a safety tool for people potentially entering into a relationship with a convicted abuser. In this video update, Klippert provides testimony on why a registry like this is so important.
