Sen. Sharon Brown and Rep. Brad Klippert to hold town hall meetings March 16
Sen. Sharon Brown and Rep. Brad Klippert will host town hall meetings Saturday, March 16, at three locations within the 8th Legislative District. The lawmakers will present a brief overview of the issues before the Legislature and then take questions and comments from the audience. “As a member of the Majority Coalition Caucus in the Washington State Senate, I'm focused on three priorities this session: creating jobs, improving education and passing a sustainable state budget,” said Brown, R-Kennewick. “While these have been my priorities as state senator, I'm looking forward to hearing what our Eighth District friends and neighbors have to say as well. It will be an informative and educational community conversation, and I sincerely hope everyone can attend.” “As we debate issues related to transportation funding proposals, education reform, firearms legislation and much more, it is important our citizens have the opportunity to voice their concerns about this legislation and other issues before us in Olympia,” said Klippert, R-Kennewick. “I always look forward to meeting with constituents and I welcome their input.” The 8th District town meetings will be held March 16 at the following locations and times: 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
