Rep. Klippert opens legislative district office, open house planned for June 28

Rep. Brad Klippert has opened an 8th District legislative office in Kennewick to be more accessible to local citizens.

“I hope people will utilize the district office and come to discuss legislative and state government issues impacting their lives,” said Klippert, R-Kennewick. “An elected official can never be too accessible. It is important to me that constituents feel like I have a presence here in the district.”

An open house is also planned for June 28, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

“I am anxious to visit with people on an informal basis about what is going on in the district and across the state. I am hopeful citizens can find a few minutes to stop by and visit during the open house,” said Klippert.

The office is located in the Clearwater West Building and it is staffed by Klippert's legislative assistant, Kelley Hays. The mailing address is: 3311 W. Clearwater Avenue, Suite D108, Kennewick, WA 99336.

The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Klippert said citizens are welcome to drop by, or they are invited to call the office to set up an appointment. The phone number is (509) 396-9838. Klippert can also be contacted via e-mail through his Web site at: houserepublicans.wa.gov/klippert.
